Hundreds of thousands of superfans, gamers, cosplayers and comic book lovers will descend on New York City this week for New York Comic Con. New York Comic Con, the second-largest pop culture convention in the nation, begins Thursday and will continue through Sunday, Oct. 8, according to the convention organizers.
