New York is a walker’s or runner’s paradise, but athletes who prefer to play sports are significantly more limited. Until recently, tennis and basketball players could only visit public parks, join a gym or club with a court, or hold out until they could see friends with easier access. However, developers are working to change that by including sports courts among the many amenities in new rentals.
